Description: OMS has designed and installed a new extensive street lighting system in Sered, Slovakia. Comprised of almost 1400 LED luminaires, the efficient system uses twilight sensor control to switch the lighting on and off according to real time ambient lighting conditions. The more natural light of LED street luminaires brings many benefits to the streets including better colour rendition, contrast, and modelling, which together vastly improve visual acuity, safety, and comfort. Specialised high-peformance LED optics ensure precise light distribution to minimise glare, light pollution, and costly wasted light.
